Boat of Garten Community Hall, Tuesday 10 November at 7pm
It’s 20 years since Lauren MacColl – a wide-eyed then 19 year old fiddler from the Black Isle – was crowned the winner of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award. It was to be a springboard for a varied couple of decades, founding both fiddle quartet RANT and song-trio Salt House, and collaborating with countless singers and instrumentalists.
Equally at home as accompanist or melody player, Anna Massie is one of the trad world’s foremost guitarists. In addition to being a skilled multi-instrumentalist renowned for her work with Blazin’ Fiddles and RANT, Anna presents BBC Radio Scotland’s award-winning flagship trad music programme, Travelling Folk.
Tickets £13.70 (includes booking fee, concessions available).
