Textures.

“We’re delighted to be able to host ‘Textures’, a group of musicians, and a poet, whom we’ve been lucky enough to host on a previous occasion to a response from our audience. They are all either based in this area or have close local ties, and they all play in the Abirneithi Sinfonia as well as, variously, in Heriot-Watt University Orchestra, Cairngorm Orchestra, Inchcolm New Music Ensemble and others. Especially relevant just now is that they get together from time to time to catch up with one another and to play an eclectic and fun selection of music as ‘Textures’ in churches and halls all over the strath, and have achieved- as well as an enthusiastic following- some impressive fundraising results. So do, please, come along, and bring friends, for a happy and relaxed hour or so of music and poems (the latter being the work of Sue Davies). Admission is free as always and as of this season so are drinks beforehand in the church hall. There will be a chance to make a donation afterwards in support of Grantown Grammar School Breakfast Club.”
