The Agar Trust supports young musicians in rural Scotland to take up educational opportunities beyond their local area, whether that is short courses; national bands, orchestras or choirs; advanced lessons; auditions; termly attendance at specialist music school or conservatoire. Our focus is the additional travel and subsistence costs which are met by families who live in rural Scotland. We are celebrating 10 years of operation with this showcase.
A selection of our many award holders, who are originally from Forres, Drumnadrochit, Tain, Isle of Lewis, Moffat, Fort William, and Orkney will perform and talk about their journeys with music.
