Cello, Piano, Tea and Cake.
Inverness Cathedral, Sunday 12th April at 3pm. Programme includes works by Beethoven, Vivaldi and additionally celebrates a galaxy of women composers. Tea and cake from 3pm, music stats 3:30. Admission £12, under 18s free.

Resolis Memorial Hall, 12th April 2026 at 7:30. Laura Jane Wilkie from Tain is a highly sought after fiddle and violin player. For this current tour of Scotland, Laura has teamed up with the brilliant guitar virtuoso Ian Carr. Tickets £15.

Nairn Community & Arts Centre, Saturday 21st March, 2026 at 7:30pm. Steven Osborne is best known for his sublime classical music, but has always been drawn to the jazz genre. In this collaboration with saxophonist Martin Kershaw they perform both classical piano and jazz duo.Tickets £19, concessions available.

Inverness Fiddler’s Rally.

The Brodsky Quartet play Shostakovich at Ardkinglass.
Saturday 14th March from 1pm. Not exactly “local” (Ardkinglass House is about 150 miles from Inverness!), but I include this as an exceptional musical event which you may not hear of otherwise. Eight Quartets, over three performances, £20 per concert or £55 for all three , pre-booking essential.
