On 27th and 31st May 2026 the Mahler Players will give two semi-staged performances of Wagner’s final work, Parsifal. In 2024 and 2025 they performed Acts 2 and 3 in isolation and are excited now to take things to the next level. Cast members include the legendary Sir John Tomlinson returning in his signature role of Gurnemanz alongside the fantastic orchestra and chorus, conducted by Tomas Leakey. These will be the first complete performances of Parsifal in Scotland since 2003.
