Beautiful madrigals & sacred music for voices & instruments in praise of Italy
Their Director, James Ross writes –
For this golden hour of sacred and secular music by Monteverdi, Gabrieli, Verdelot, Riccio, Vecchi and Alberti the twenty-four voices of Musick Fyne are joined by members of the instrumental consort Coronach on recorders, viol and organ. Rich choral textures alternate with delightful madrigals and consort music, before the voices and instruments combine forces in spectacular music composed for St Marks in Venice.
It promises to be a lovely way to spend an hour on a Sunday evening in early summer!
This is not a TOMS concert, but I have offered to be the box office for this concert for James – so tickets can be purchased using the usual TOMS method.
