Glen Cunningham and Anna Tilbrook

Nairn Community & Arts centre, Saturday April 19th 7.30pm

We are so delighted that Glen is returning to Nairn, where most of us remember his wonderful tenor voice when he performed as a youngster. Since being Scottish Opera Emerging Artist 2021/22 performing in several Scottish Opera roles and touring with ‘Opera Highlights’ he has joined the prestigious Opera Studio for Opéra national du Rhin, and been tenor soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem. In 2022/23 he joined Glyndebourne’s Festival Opera Chorus.

Anna Tilbrook is one of Britain’s most exciting pianists, with a considerable reputation in song recitals and chamber music. She is a regular performer at Europe’s major concert halls and festivals. Anna has collaborated with leading singers, instrumentalists and string quartets, described ‘an outstanding accompanist’ by BBC Music Magazine.

Glen and Anna will perform songs with a Scottish connection including McRae, Stevenson, Schumann (Burns settings) Liza Lehman and Traditional.
