Led by Piers Adams, one of the world’s foremost recorder players, with Julia Bishop (violin), Angela East (cello) and David Wright (harpsichord) they attract highest critical acclaim for their blend of virtuosity, high energy, musical magic and mayhem!
A stunning programme of truly baroque classics exploring themes of love, joy and madness, arranged and performed with Red Priest’s trademark energy, virtuosity and creativity.
The programme will include:
VIVALDI – Concerto in A minor from L’Estro Armonico
BACH – Adagio in Bb (theme from ‘Truly Madly Deeply’)
HANDEL – Trio Sonata in F Major Op 2 No 4
BACH – Brandenburg Concerto no. 5
TELEMANN – Largo and Gypsy Rondo
HANDEL – Aria Amoroso
CORELLI – La Folia (Madness)
alongside a colourful array of works by lesser known baroque masters.
Admission: £19 for non-members, £16 for Music Nairn members, £3 under 25 and UC (universal credit).
